Just get a First Nations whale, or do it totem style with a bear and an eagle or a salmon or whatever. Colours work, just update the artwork to something actually west coast.

I’m not going to get too down or up on any GM hire until we see some actual moves if it’s a rookie GM with no track record to analyze. I remember Fenton was highly regarded because he was Poile’s guy and he flamed out in Minny.

On that note, I have seen Jason Botterill’s track record of moves in Buffalo so I hope he isn’t the guy. Don’t care if he’s an analytics guy, him and Chayka are both a hard pass for me based on their previous GM work

I finally just got in touch with friends in Cebu, everyone is safe but typhoon Odette was brutal, it took a chunk of their roof off and their neighbours place is completely gone. I had seen pictures of concrete power poles snapped off. No power, no gas, and food is running out. Still waiting to hear from everyone I know at the north end of the Island. They are talking about weeks to get power back and months in other places.

I’m not a fan of the spaghetti plate or the yellow trim. Black as a main color, yes, but the current color scheme is West Coast. I think they should go with the modified stink in rink sweaters with an added white pinstripe to it.
