Playoff teams like Nashville and Dallas will not be trading Forsberg and Pavelski as rentals. If they can't agree to an extension they'll just try to make a playoff run and if they lose a player to UFA they can use that cap space to target some other UFA. Like Nashville is going to dump Forsberg for a 1st and flush their season down the toilet? Good one.
