Let's go boys!
In all honesty, looking at the line-up we are putting out there, why shouldn't we have two 10 game losing streaks??? Crazy.
Big changes coming. Especially if attendance hits 12,000 (or less) mark. |

Watching the Rangers beat up Toronto"s defense last night think they would be a great trade partner for RR. They are desperate and we may be able to strike early with them. Kreider 25th goal looks like they kept the right vets for their 3 yr rebuild. Hard to believe how good they look with little from Lafreinre and Kakko |

Nah. They won't lose 20 in a row. This would be the second 10 game losing streak before the mid way point of the season. I went back and looked at the 1992-1993 Ottawa Senators. They finished with 24 points. They were 10-70-4, they didn't have two ten game losing streaks in the first half of the season.

I know what you meant....
Did some of the 4 ties cancel such a possibility? What if they had been OTLs? |

Couldn't the Flyers bring up Allison in place of Mayhew to at least more resemble an NHL lineup? We still have Bunnaman and Wllman in there to give it that AHL flair, but watching Mayhew on the 3rd line is just too much for me to handle. |

No reason to believe tonight’s game will result in anything but another loss. There are simply not enough skill players in the Flyers’ lineup, injuries or no injuries.
How many more consecutive losses will it take until the front office, coaching staff, and aging and/or skill-less vets are shown the door? |

But the prospect depth of this Organization though..... The depth is incredible. I've stepped in deeper puddles.

Need Allison to get more seasoning in the AHL under the solid tutelage of Lappy. He comes up now this could crush his development and he won't learn that taking a puck off the face is essential to playing Flyer Hockey. Plus Mayhew is the son of Peter Mayhew who played Chewbacca for God's sake.
Gotta have him in the lineup. |

JVR needs a good 20 game run to be tradable. You could trade him to a team like the Yotes and then they move him, give a late pick, with each team holding half. Real money he is only owed 5 mil, that is good but 3.5 on the cap for a contender for the extra year will be tough. I think it will need to be a team in the playoffs who thinks JVR can help. Why would a non-playoff team trade for him wo a sweetener.
Frost, if you can't see the kid just needs to play and play with the right players, I dont what to tell you.
CF- Man, like all fans you want your team to win and I was hoping for success coming into this season, not a cup but a step forward where the whole franchise (JR, AHL and big club) took a step forward. Every move he made missed and missed badly, then just shxt luck with Hayes, Coots etc. I end up saying if he gets canned so be it. Leaders make decisions and they are responsible for those decisions. The finally straw is the way they use their players, YEO seems to employ the same strategy as AV, as the prior coach.
Here we are 2 GM's later, drafting for what seems forever and we have ZERO 4th line and ZERO 3rd pair D. Yes I want top end talent but the fact they could not draft and develop the low end? Seriously...
I do think they will have some prospects step forward next season, I think they will have a 4th line. I still don't see the D and they don't have the speed.
G, I am sure he came into the season thinking they would be a playoff team and the contract would take care of itself, man he was wrong. I Would get the best trade with every playoff team and present them all to G.
CF stays, he will tinker again
He goes, who knows what they will do, my sense is you are going to see them try and attempt to make hockey trades, like TK for ??? Clean out the old from TK forward
Speed and skill after all the moves CF made were still my concerns, it is still ...

actually would not mind Mayhew on the 4th line, he adds some speed and skill but Allison should be called up. |

Can't possibly sit Zack Attack 2.0. You need a guy like him playing every single game if you want to be a bottom 5 team.
3 points in 34 games for Vancouver last season
3 points in 37 games for Philly so far this season
That's the type of consistent effort the authentic fans respect. |

It's Allison's fault for not having any connection to the Wild. Don't blame the GM for Wade's mistakes.

Maybe just stay healthy and the kids in the lineup. |

He's healthy right now, and they're playing an undersized 29 year old AHL guy as 3RW.
