Absolutely.
Rough night for Fox, even before getting hurt.
Zibby has been sleepwalking through 5 on 5 play for a while now. Can't have it.
We had one of our least physical games against one of the smallest D corps in the league.

As much as that sucked, the real test is tonight. How do they bounce back after a clunker? Better have a chip on their shoulder and figure out a way to leave yesterday in the past and get 2 points.
I thought that was one of Kreider and Zibs worst games of the year. |

JT Miller with a hat trick and a 4 point night. The price of poker keeps going up. |

After that clunker last night, and their history of losing games on celebration nights, they better look in the mirror this afternoon and make a statement tonight. Especially with Fox out |

Absolute crap performance last night. They played down to their opponent and that is something they really have not done too much of this year. Like mentioned above the bounce back is the most important aspect here.
The worst part of last night was Sam and Joe and their inability to call the game properly. Sam is lost and Joe tries to make up for it by explaining things that he just makes up in his small brain. |

They're tough to listen to in general, but when they're not at the game it's impossible. |

They gotta roll Laf on the top line and let him get going some how. Rangers always play down to their opponents |

We probably shouldn't pick on Sam today, on this Ranger Holiday, but yeah, Bruce Jenner is right down there with calling Nolan Patrick, Nolan Ryan last year. He just needs to retire.... tomorrow

I've met Sam a few times at charity golf tournaments in Westchester County. A few nice man, very cordial. He's just stayed at the dance a little too long. |

5 on 5 play has been sub par for a lot of this season. This team gets its spark and momentum from the powerplay and special teams. I don't think it improves until some trades happen and the lineup gets more balanced. Why I am hoping they don't wait till the deadline to make them all lol |

Pretty much have my list for the trade deadline:
Laf, Schneider and Othmann are untouchables for me
Miller and Kakko I don't want to deal but would listen depending on the player we could bring back
Every other prospect/pick is on the table in trade talks
Time for fun!! |

that pass that Lafreniere made last night to Gauthier was star quality, Gauthier has no finishing ability, absolutely none
if Laf was playing with some star level talent I have no doubt he'd start pouring on the assists
but this problem of Kreider, Panarin and Lafreniere being left wings isn't going away anytime soon |

Yea they tried Kreider/Laf earlier in the year on the Right side. Neither liked it, and Panarin doesn't want to do it. I don't know what the solution is |

3rd line has been a black hole all season. Doesn't matter who is on it, just doesn't accomplish much on the ice. I really think figuring that out could be the key to unlocking the other lines 5 on 5. |

Their descent has been noticeable over the last couple seasons. Problem is, aside from a handful of network guys, most up here in Canada, I can't stand ANY teams announcers! |
