Meh... They will have unhappy fans, but fans won't leave. Maybe harder to sell tickets or ratings go down a little, but nothing that will impact the team overall.

I'm happy to give them 2-3 years to clean up this poop, then a few years of drafting and development, showing improvements year over year (even small ones).

given the current season I wouldn't necessarily label him as the worst coach ever just yet, but I do find some decisions to be very curious, and I can't help but wonder if Hughes and Gorton are 100% on board with how things are being handled.

I agree 100%. He is gone, they just have more important things to deal with right now than a coaching change.

Maybe they wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt...

While I think he lasts the rest of the season, I can see them pulling the plug after the trade deadline if the guy they want is available now..
