You have got to be kidding me right?? I am the LAST person on this forum that uses discussions as a game of gotcha. I hate it when people do it to me and I don't do it to others. For someone that is academic, you apparently don't pay much attention to what I actually post do you. You call me inconsistent, but again this completely false, I am very consistent. I can give you countless examples but two that come to mind right away is my defense of Fletcher and of Risto. I also never bring up political or world topics into this forum, and very rarely have I responded to any.

The Pittsburgh Penguins are pretty famous for tanking to get Lemieux and winning the Cup. Be forewarned though, PT21 has no concept of what tanking actually is. He thinks trading off a few players who aren't in the teams future for future assets is tanking.

I always thought Hagg got a bad rap here. Yes I know he is a pylon, but he was a serviceable, game pylon who worked within his limitations and more importanly knew them.

Btw, I made a vegan hollandaise with eggs benedict this morning, which I know you favor:

Eggs poached as usual (3 mins, in water with heat shut off after it boiled). Muffins whole wheat, well toasted, asparagus blanched as per usual, smoked salmon store bought, nothing fancy.

Now before you laugh at the hollandaise, hear out my recipe, and better still try it out: 1/2 cup white beans, 1/2 cup cashews (soaked in warm water for an hour or not needed if you are using a powerful blender like a vitamix or a nutribullet), 1/4 cup nutritional yeast, to taste: lemon juice, black salt (it has sulfur), cayenne. 1/2 tsp turmeric for color.

Does it taste like the real thing? No. It tastes better.

No time nor energy to make homeade. The knorr packet works just fine. Ham and Bays english muffin. None of that vegan BS. Just make sure you drain the poached egg!!! Hollandaise i your potatoes as well

Sorry, many on this forum will agree with your statement here, I will not. RR is a much better defender and physical player than you give him credit for. We all get so fascinated with stats and advanced metrics we forget to watch the games sometimes, but RR has brought a lot to this team. Is he perfect? No. But he very good.

I watch. My determination is RR does noting to hlep this team win. He is not very good. I hate to see what you think great is if he is very good. As I said replace himi with Hagg adn teh fleyrs are pretty much the saem team.

He hasnt brought anything to this team. His physicality is so overrated it is comical.

With Frost I think that will happen, especially after the deadline. Regarding Sanheim the Flyers have got to either use him in a way that accentuates his strengths or they need to trade him. Sanheim has size but doesn't use it and he doesn't have a lot of strength either. He will never IMO be a great defender and should be kept as far away from the PK as possible. Sanheim's strength is his skating and his offensive game, so the Flyers should have him QB the PP and get him out there on O-zone draws much more. Right now Sanheim has a 61% d-zone starts and that is just plain stupid, this number should be reversed IMO.

1. Well, you need to improve your memory.

In NFL, MLB and NBA, to the best of my knowledge, the role is largely ceremonial Ditto for soccer. if it exists at all.

If a captain could exhort his team to greater heights, the same logic should work for other sports. I wonder why the NHL clings to the illusion the captaincy is important here whereas it is largely meaningless in others afaik.

I watched a lot of it too. Pens just have a large # of players who are patient and know what it takes to win big games.
