I went to the game fully expecting to get blown out. Gotta say we played hard and effort wasn’t the issue tonight, with exception of JVR. He’s gotta be the guy every player refers to when someone say “everyone has to buy in.” He’s checked out and guys like Mayhew and Ratcliffe are showing him up. Entertaining game and the crowd was loud! But obviously very frustrating at the end. Back to back late game leads blown that were very winnable games. Does make you wonder how we’d fare in these games if guys like Couts, Farabee, Ellis and Hayes were healthy.

Goat of the game tonight goes to Morgan Frost. I thought he was mostly awful all night and then he proceeds to get rag dolled by Carl Hagelin of all players on the tying goal. Only 9 minutes of ice time and he earned his spot! I'm tired of hearing people say that he needs to be moved up with better players! What he needs to do is put on his big boy NHL pants and EARN a spot on the higher lines. Look no further than Jerry Mayhew. Was moved up to the top line cause he was playing well and took advantage of it. You watching Morgie? Thanks!

Nice to see Mayhew have some NHL success. Late bloomer and former AHL sniper who probably won’t see much NHL ice after this season.

Didn’t you hear they hired more office people ( analytics dept) to fix things? Plus they are only 2-3 players way from contending again. It’s not that hard to fix, they should be done soon, I’m thinking 2050
