Not doing your job if you're not trying so no harm no foul but my guess is what they bring in and concentrate on are short term bottom 9 forwards and bottom 4 d. And I think that would make sense. I won't be upset if they miss out on big name UFAs as I don't see them having a good chance to get them right now anyway

Don't really understand how it's devil's advocate. Obama put the heavy sanctions on Russia and fostered the wars in Syria and Libya that lead to them "annexing" Crimea. Trump put even heavier sanctions and bombed the Syrian government the major ally of Russia. Biden sabre rattles with Russia about how they're the enemy of the world and that new sanctions are coming...of course they attack. They're a failed state running off of an Oligarchical hegemony of natural resources and a placated underserved public.

I hope they get stopped. If not externally, then internally so they finally realize that the best way to be stable is to get that pipeline with Germany and avoid all of this insanity trying to reclaim the Soviet breadbasket.
