Oh really, why? Listen to what Brent Flahr told Bill and Jason yesterday about Morgan Frost and then come back and apologize, because he told them the exact same thing I am have been posting here for weeks about Frost. Bill thinks that putting Frost on a line with G and Cam for the entire season is the best way to develop him. You obviously feel the same way. I don't and neither does Mike Yeo, Brent Flahr, Danny Briere and Chuck Fletcher. In this instance, I'm fine with the group I'm with thank you very much.

Let me clue you into it. This organization does not know how to properly develop young players. We witness that on a regular basis. So why would I have to listen to what Brent Flahr says? He is just spewing the company line. I witness what they do. The group that you are fine being with is failing miserably.

Youre the best REAL FAN ever.

I love how people equate not wanting to spend money on a poopty product to not being invested in the team

And you do??

Or Bill Meltzer does? Or Jason Myrtetus does?? Or some scout from Timbuktu??

You know what, if I didn't see with my own eyes what Flahr and Yeo are seeing, then I might be inclined to at least question them. But in this instance, they are spot on. They see the same things that I see and I have described repeatedly about how Frost plays the game. Its not rocket science. Just watch him play and see what he does shift after shift. Then factor in that any time Bill compliments Frost, its never about a slick move, or a great shot or a dominant shift. Its painfully obvious to anyone who has actually played the game outside of pond hockey, but as I said, its not obvious to you because it clearly apparent you have never actually played hockey for real, and on top of that, you just hate Fletcher so you will continue to look for any reason to try to discredit him. It's sad.

Dude, I've forgotten more about hockey than you'll ever know! Have fun jaggin off to the Sixers. I can't wait until they fall on their collective faces(and they will) and all you lemmings look silly.

For the record I am still invested in the team cause I've been a Flyers fan since 1976(first game attended), but I haven't spent a red cent since the 2012 playoff series against the Pens(last game I attended). I don't pay hard earned money to watch an inferior product.

I'm starting to side with you more and more. People want Frost to be babied cause he was a high draft pick of Hextall's. I'm not seeing him earn a spot on the higher level lines like Mayhew and Ratcliffe have. He just simply doesn't look that good to my reliable eye test. I've yet to see him win one puck battle.

You can't seem to figure it out no matter how many times it is explained to you that it is not about how Frost is playing. It's about what is the best course of action to get him to play better. To gain confidence and to have a better opportunity to use his skills to become a better player.
What's painfully obvious is that not only don't you have any sense about hockey but you lack simple common sense. You keep arguing the wrong point. And you make laughable comments that it's just about trying to discredit Fletcher
You don't even have the sense to look at your own opinion of how he belongs on the PP because you liked what you saw when he was given an unearned opportunity on the PP without it occurring to you that he did well in that situation because it is a better opportunity and situation for him to play in. You can't put that two and two together. What's sad is that someone so invested in the game of hockey knows so little about it.

1.You dont know a goddamn thing about what I know

2. So by your definition, you dont pay unless the product is worth it. Now youve stopped watching as well....until their worth watching.....sounds like a lemming to me.

Even if the Sixers fall on their face like they did last year, theyre methodology and vision and bias for action is superior to the Flyers

Let me explain something to you. When you are playing with top players, they play very confidently, they play at a fast pace and they expect others around them to understand the game as much as they do, see what they see and have the same instincts. In hockey at this level, you have to play on instinct because if you try to evaluate and make decisions, you are too slow and the game blows by you. Frost is not at the same level as G and Cam in these terms. Frost may be able to skate, pass, shoot, stick check and have all the skills as an NHL player, but these intangibles are what determine if and where a player can play in the lineup. Frost at this stage of his development will be a disaster playing 5 on 5 with G and Cam. It will be frustrating for them and frustrating for Frost. It will not build his confidence, it will degrade it even further, and Bill has already told us he a fragile player to begin with. So what Frost needs now is to build confidence playing in a less role with players that are more or less at his level or slightly better. Then with continual coaching, video review and practice, Frost can continue to develop these instincts to a point where he will be able to not only play with players like G and Cam, but excel in doing so.

The PP, for the umpteenth time, is a different animal than 5 on 5 play. You have a different responsibilities in terms of role and positioning. Frost has already demonstrated to me, and apparently to the coaching staff, that he already has the right instincts to be a viable option on the half wall, so he is playing there right now. My hope is that continues and again, my hope is that Frost makes it with the Flyers. One of the most alarming things that Craig Button said the other day is Frost may make it, but with another team. That would be a another big and negative blow to this franchise.

Right, but think about what we see from Ratcliffe and Mayhew shift after shift. They win puck battles, they generate offense, they hit, they steal pucks, they shoot, they pass, they score, they hit posts & cross bars. Do you see any of this from Frost?

What you posted here is completely false and wrong. The thought that playing with better players would degrade Frost's confidence is beyond asinine. It's all hockey and it was clear how Frost was up on his skates, confident and attacking when he played with better players in a better situation and had the puck on his stick more. You also ignore that the current approach is clearly not working and you again, contradict yourself without even knowing it. For the umpteenth time.

Button is right. Another team may develop him properly and he might have a chance.
