He has to have a dynamic player or two with him. He creates little on his own. Can be a good compliment to a line that needs an extra push. Wish he was a top tier talent, but at this point i would be happy with a 2nd rounder or he is the mediocre roster player in a package for a better center

have a friend who moved to upstate NY, and got the hockey channel. He said after listening to the home announcers from all the other stadiums has given him a new appreciation for Jack. He's a homer and a buffoon, but he does know his stuff.

So the local broadcast which in most cases( and is the case in Boston), is either owned or partially owned by the team. The announce team and coverage is then supposed to be an internationally focused and not said team centric? Do I have that right? This is OK, for any other city with "Homer" broadcasts like Buffalo or until recently Pittsburgh. Which both are great broadcasters but they are/were massive homers.

I'm trying to figure out why it's OK for you bumholes to repeatedly (frank)ing goose step into this string and make these kinds of comments without any real argument or logic behind it.

Also let me make this CRYSTAL clear on this for you. I can't stand Jack Edwards, I think he is so bad at calling the game, he doesn't even meet the minimum requirements of being a play by play person (which is a skill that many people do not possess btw). Total buffoon to boot.

I would however take Jack over that horrendous, vanilla, say nothing snooze fest that NBC was. Doc, Edzo, Panger and whatever other stupid (frank)ing nicknames you want to throw out were horrendous. When they weren't putting me to sleep, they making me uncomfortable with how much verbal tongue bathing they gave the despicable Chicago organization for 10 years. Their bias has aged really well there.

The only 2 worth anything from that comatorium was Milbury and JR and they were fired for having an actual opinion and a really off color joke on a (frank)ing podcast respectively.

So... is Debrusk playing to stay? or to increase his trade value?

Been invisible most of the season and NOW decides to play?

Might be trying to boost his trade value. I thought he might have changed his tune but him saying I plead the 5th the other night leads me to believe he wants to leave still.

Ill take the good play while he is here. Hard to mess up playing on that line. I fully expect him to be wearing a different jersey next year.

So is this going to be Bergy's last year? Just wondering if he will retire or pull a chara and do a year-to-year thing.

I don't think this is going to be his last year but he has said nothing to make me feel good about the scenario. I hope he keeps playing and i think that it will come down to his health at the end of the year. I was pretty convinced Krejci would be back so i have no idea.

Or he could be playing the Tarasenko game. He also asked for a trade and has gone silent since then. I don't think asking for a trade is a great look personally. Should be done behind closed doors.

Hope he comes on another year to mentor Lysell. The center situation is going to get dire pretty quick when Bergy is gone.

Did you see that someone compared Lysells skating to Mcdavid and Pavel Bure? Think i'm going to have to watch some highlights. That is an area that the Bruins forward groups lacks (besides Marchand). A truly fast solid skater that can be creative with the puck. Outside of McAvoy, Gryz, Pasta and Marchand everyone primarily has straight line speed.

If JT Miller is truly an option. That would help the future of the center position.

I wish he would stay, but I'm not holding my breath. We will see what Sweeney gets for him.

Yeah maybe. I WANT A TRADE or (to not play with Coyle). Honestly, I know everyone pretty much has written him off but he is still very young. This is the age we traded Wheeler and that move worked in the short term but not the long term. I still would have liked him to reach his prime here.

We don't need to trade him just for the sake of trading him.
