“Florida considering Lindholm as well. Florida not into rentals, so they would have to be able to extend…”
“On Giroux... I would lean towards Florida…but only slightly…”
But Giroux would be nothing but a rental for FL, I don’t think they would have the cap room to re-sign him, and doubt they would want to, anyway.
If the Panthers do anything, it will be to add a defender, imo.

Are you the first Panthers fan on here? If so congrats and welcome
Rangers will land a defenseman before next Monday's deadline. Who that defenseman is, remains to be seen.
I think the Rangers are also going to make a big splash and acquire a player nobody is talking/writing about. They have so much cap room, some decent prospects and picks to work with, GM Chris Drury may have something up his sleeve. I think this current road trip has shown they need more pieces to make a deep run in this year's playoffs. Who those pieces are is for Drury to determine. He's a hockey guy, so he understands that team chemistry both on the ice and in the lockeroom are huge intangibles for whoever his acquisition is.
Lets make it easy, the flames stand pat OR add a fourth liner just because; personally I would love it but there is no gio, the leafs getting him will NOT fix their issues.
Edmonton is probably not going to happen for fleury either and thats too bad he deserves better than he got.
Colorado might land Giroux, depends if Land has any return time at all.
E5 or whatever the code is? I have no sources BUT COMMON SENSE.
I love it when and islanders fan gets salty! great expectations after a couple of solid years but now they are nothing but an old team with no offense and the second best Russian goaltender in new York! heading towards being the laughing stock of the nhl again and FAST!
Just to let you know there are other teams besides the Leafs, Rangers, Caps, Carolina, Flyers, Canadians, Panthers and Tampa Mr. Eklund! I will send you a wipe when the Blues or Wild end up with Giroux!
Just a casual hattrick and 5-point night for Shane Wright. This kid would excel under Marty's tutelage.

If the poor guy is cursed and comes to Philly, he’ll get jerked back and forth between LV and Phi until the kid learns to play defense and blocks shots.

Strange cause frost actually has show he can defend and even win a few draws. It’s the offense or lack there of that has been getting him sent down. Was just curious who on Philly you were referring to..?

Frost's offensive abilities is the last thing anyone is worrying about, but on the other hand it's tough to create any kind of offense when you play with plugs for 8 mins a night.
Now put Frost with some decent players (Giroux and Konency) and magically his offensive game is apparent.
Now who is he referring to? FROST and many others.
Well a couple GM’s said this is the quietest deadline they’ve ever seen.
Friedman says no one has made any significant offer yet for Giroux. MAF has not agreed to go anywhere yet and will only go somewhere if he has a shot at being a key price to a cup. Pavelski off the board and Klingberg also off the board with Heskinen being out. Says Hertl is still trying to be signed and they are not even discussing him with anyone.
So sounds like you’re making things up in your head again.
