If the Pens win this, Jarry should be #1 star. |

Vatrano is a solid bottom six player for sure, but he's not what this team needs. - Rinosaur I think it would have been worth trying. Right now we have solid bottom 6 guys on both our top 2 lines and they're not scoring. Vatrano can flat out shoot and rarely passes up a shot. NY thinks the same, he's playing with Panarin/Strome.

Didn't do them so well tonight losing 2-1 to the Isles.

And why has Letang completely dumped the backhand SO move? He was money for years with it and rarely tries it anymore.

I know it's one game, but he's not a top-six player.
Maybe goalies caught on to this move?
EDIT: Kakko is injured. That's why he played up there. |

I get out twice a week. Once at my course and once on a neighboring course. Only play occasionally on the weekend. - Thunderbolt
You are in Wampum? I've played Suncrest a few times and Butler once or twice. |

Giroux staying back while the Flyers travel. He is expected to go to Florida. Will be interesting to see the return. |

Just saw that. Apparently he nixed trades to NYR and BOS.

And I'm not saying Vatrano would have been our savior, but for just a 4th I would have liked to grab him. No guarantee that Hex lands us an absolute top 6 wing and even if he does, Vatrano would have still been a solid depth add.

It's going to have to be for multiple prospects that Philly likes. |

Stonecrest is where I work. Nice flat course. We were bought out a year ago. This will be the last year we're an 18 hole course.

Speaking of which, how's everyone's bracket? I haven't watched a basketball game in forty years so I don't care. I saw ESPN had 17 million entries and they're down to 750 perfect entries after ten games. |

He's also a 2.5 mill cap hit, Pens dont have much cap space, so would need to send someone their way, and the Cats were trying to make cap room...so they probably wouldnt of taken a Pens player back. I dont think Vatrano to the Pens would ever be realistic...his finishing and goals per 60 look fairly good though all with low quality teammates..against not very good competition...

I had recently done a NST comparison with him and another player. His stats seemed better defensively, so I was a little surprised to see this. |

Vatrano is meh. He's just another Heinen, McGinn, Kapenan, etc. player. Just a pointless grab. |

I agree. I said earlier I don't think he would have been the right move. I just thought he was better defensively than that.

Pagnotta seems to believe that Garland is the piece most likely to be moved from VAN and they'd much prefer to hold on to Miller and Boeser. They didn't play the full clip, but he ended by mentioned that this is where they are with the Pens. Obviously Miller would be the #1 choice, but of realistic choices I'm taking Garland over Boeser.
I maintain that I'm expecting a very quiet deadline from the Pens and the off-season will be when all the shuffling takes place, but I will say if the Pens are active this deadline that it will be "go big" moves. |

I hope it wasn't just a fluke, but Matheson and Marino were on another level last night. |
