As long as Florida doesn’t get there by #35 letting in a half court shot in game 7 of the ecf again I’m happy.

I think we discuss this around here every year however I still have a bit of fog on the go...but....when have the biggest TDL fish hosted the cup by the team that caught them at the deadline? I feel like it doesn't happen that often...teams spend a lot to acquire and it doesnt take them to the promise land...

The one tactic I did like about JR is making moves a month or two before the deadline. Giving players more time to acclimate to their team gives them a better shot of having a solid impact.

Hextal and sullivan like our team, maybe a 4th liner and 7th dmen that will be out deadline aquistions...jr is gone, at least he kept things from getting stale!

Two guys off the table we've been linked to and I'm glad they're both off the table. I actually would be totally cool with bringing in Jarnkrok as a secondary move for the bottom six after bringing in a top 6 winger, but as THE move of the deadline would have just been a huge waste of assets.

That is contrary to every report out there. We're either gonna get a guy Hextall thinks will add scoring to the 2nd and 3rd line or he'll find we can't afford one and do absolutely nothing. I really don't think we'll waste assets on lower depth players since we are already have those in spades.

Oh yah, Chiarot is at best an average defender who shoots the puck. But most people agree he is not good and takes way to many penalties.

Been saying that for a bit now. I can't see how he can make much of a move at the moment. I think the off-season is when we see all the shuffling around.
