Yeah could simply be that's where Letang wants to raise his family when he retires and he sees the Pens winding down so why not do it now?

I take the Letang to Montreal stuff with a grain of salt though. I think he's going to weigh all options and is trying to drive up his market. It's kind of a bad contract for anyone to make, so not sure why someone besides Pittsburgh pays it, but all it takes is one.
