I wanted to pop over and tell Schwein and Chiefs to suck a fat one. That is all. |

I would request that ALL players be removed from the Hall Of Fame and only PA Parenteau be inducted. #HallOfParenteau |

I honestly don't expect much of anything today. I would bet that having seen the Isles improved play over the past few weeks that Lou is galvanized by the idea that the opening road trip and covid mess were much to blame for our standing at this point and any adjustments can be made this summer with a free agent acquisition or two.
I think it's clear that we still need a top line wing and perhaps a #4 dman. Perhaps a youthful replacement for Cal. Beyond that, let Bolduc and Salo develop, hope Raty can jump sooner than later and manage contracts on the core |

Sure doesn't seem like anything is going on today. Maybe Chara gets moved for a late pick. But based on what Kurz's article after the games yesterday...it sure doesn't seem like Clutterbuck/Greene are going anywhere, despite being given the day off. Doesn't sound like much on the Parise front either. |

There appears to be a sense that all three could potentially return and no one (Chara included) wants to move their families. I do think at 35 it's time for Clutter to move on or at least take a massive discount. He brings very little beyond attitude at this point. I don't want Chara AND Greene back but would take one or the other. Parise I would gladly take back for another year.
I can't remember where it was but I had read at red that the islanders wouldn't be trading any veterans unless the players themselves requested so.
The Forsberg saga will be fascinating today... |

Hey if Chara and or Greene want be our 6/7’s that would be ok but we all know they will play much more prominent roles. Neither are good signings if they play a consistent role next season imo. Greene has been great for us Chara has been pretty awful since the onset with that said it’s time to move on from the two. The easy answer would be they can break up time between Salo and Bolduc but I think we all know how that will turn out. |

I think Bolduc is a very long way off. Last season he seemed to be punching above his weight class. I don't know how his play away from the puck has been, but he's only posted 5pts in 46 games vs. 14pts in 24 games last year. |

I understand the respect for the vets, but I don't really love that the inmates are running the asylum on deadline day. Passing up recouping some assets to appease everyone seems a little irresponsible.
At this point, I don't think I'd take Chara or Greene back, if it were up to me. Greene has been great at his role here but he's slowing down too and I think they need to get some more speed/puck-moving on the blueline. That's been one of their biggest weaknesses all year. |

I think in a six or seven role Greene can still be serviceable, if paired with the right guy. Same would go with Chara but there's no way I want both. I think Chara has been extremely helpful with Dobson's development and would love to see him work with Salo and/Bolduc. |

Honestly haven’t been paying attention to Bolduc just piggy backed him off someone else’s post. Either way the point remains the same. |
