I don't know what you suggested, but Mitts, VO, a late 1st, Johnson, and Bryson are all expendable assets that get traded here multiple times a day, A package of them is not GMTM.

A GMTM package includes multiple pieces that hurt to lose.

Knowing we have some minute eater coming in, I like the idea of Gudbranson coming aboard to anchor the 3rd pairing at 12 or so minutes a game.

He'd be a good target. The tough part of UFA is that they probably need 5 options and a plan for 0/5.

Tage should get a nice check this year and next, for a discounted few years after (in theory).

The way it is now, you have to pay players for past performance and some potential, having the last few years become an issue. The player deserves it now (in case of serious injury before payday).
