I believe the max player salary allowed is 20% of the salary cap, which will be $82.5M for next season, so $16.5M is the max for next season.

Explain different, both Eichel and Tage, heading into final year of contract and the team wants them long term?

Skinner they were proactive so he wouldn’t test free agency.

Signing Tage this summer would be proactive similar to those situations.
