7-4
Lol - Anderdog
Power 4 assists +4. Neither of the other 2 stars on Michigan made a difference. Beniers and Johnson combined for 0 points and -2. One game but big time players show up in big games |

Watching him
Doesn't seem to move much
But is always in right spot
He straddles the line of lazy/ no panic
In a good way thou
Until play goes up ice
Then you see the speed
Portilo looked a little rattle in 3 Rd
Unless 36 is right and he's banged up

Granato likes to mention that the team "didnt have it" on a few nights
I think not having it .... is also we are out classed team wise.
Squeaking out overtime loser points and wins vs the pens caps rangers leafs vegas and all of those team is nothing to hang your hat on and think we suck |

I'm hanging big hats on 7-3-2 in march with the new core and a 1OA a week out, 2 top notch NCAA goalie prospects, a top leading goal scorer in the ahl and peterka.
Young team, another year of maturity
Big hats |

What do you make of the fact that they've been out-scored in March, and even during the current streak?

I've always considered the red/green goal differential in the standings as a top indicator of team performance.
My version of analytics. ๐
Didn't realize actually, although the oilers game was brutal. OT games are always one goal games.....
Feels entirely different. I've fallen for it before though.
Nice to have favorite players to choose from other than nhl longshots and try hard guys.......

Whatever happens with the Bills stadium I hope they (frank)ing swing for the fences, and I hope Kathy Hochul is willing to burn every piece of political capital she has to do it. Also, I hope the Pegulas have their bribes ready. It cost Steve Cohen $1.5 million to get the Mayor of NYC to change their vaccine law. TPegs should be able to grease the assembly and senate without much issue. You donโt amass billions of dollars to not bribe politicians. Get the damn thing done, and give the Bills fan a world class building. |

Power is going to be our Alex Pietrangelo while Dahlin is going to be a 70 point Norris candidate
Samuelsson is our Hjalmarsson except he has offensive instincts
The future on D is ridiculous |

Agreed. They have a lot of size too, and Dahlin gets dirtier every game. I love the fact he wears an A now and (frank)ing hits people every game. He plays mean. Has a Sweed ever done that? A 21 year old Euro playing mean. Nuts. |

It really pisses me off Risto has a hockey IQ of -12. He'd just be (frank)ing perfect for this D room. He's going to have a lightbulb moment one season and end up +25. |

Hey Kong, serious question for you.
The other day you posted something along the lines that the Cap situation for VGK isn't as dires as some think. I am curious to understand what is driving your thoughts there. Are you seeing something that I am not?
I still hold onto the belief they are more in dire straights this offseason than not, based on :
- Cap cheong now projected to be $82.5m ( up $1m)
- projected to be at $83m with only 16 contracts
-5 RFA's to sign, would chew up ~$3.9m for minimum of Vet Cap hits
Interesting that Vogle this am mention Stephenson as a possible candid to move.
What would you give, if anything to bring him in? |

Iโm just so impressed with Samuelsson.
He was supposedly a lower ceiling D. I donโt believe that at all anymore
We have potentially 3 top pairing LD and two stud LD |

I have a sneaking suspicion that Dahlin wears the C. I predicted it when he was drafted based on his commitment, and compete levels that were reported back ghen.
Tuch certainly gives him a very strong run for the money, but IMO the future of the team is on Dahlin's shoulders going forward. |
