B movies going back to the 50’s long before you were here are better than some A movies. Case and point Reefer Madness! Made in the 30’or early 40’s you have to watch it. They did a remake in the late 80’ or early 90’s not the same.

B movies are movies without stars and a huge budget, like half of those are not B movies.

Last Action Hero was made like a B movie, but had the biggest movie star in it. Con Air is far from a B movie, it had a star studded cast and cost a poopload(at the time) to make; on par with The Rock, Air Force One, and Face Off.

If anything Rocky 1 was the B movie, a nobody who wrote himself into a movie that became a smash hit.

The Matrix is an interesting one, had a decent budget, Keanu Reeves was arguably the most famous guy in it, but hadn't really done much in the few years leading up to it, same with Fishburne.
