I really hope they miss the playoffs. It couldnt be more fitting for a team that tries to circumvent the salary cap and win at any cost - Avsrchamps01
I really hope they make it and the Avs bounce them in 4. |

LOL. I would be a little nervous if they get Stone Pacioretty Martinez and Lehner back

True. I still say the Avs win though. |

Wouldn’t that be sweet for Sabres fans!
Thank god whinny wimpy me me me Eichel is gone. I wanted him gone two years ago.
Ty for Alex Tuch. He’s a character player whom I’m glad was buried on an overloaded aging Vegas team.
Krebs, he’s doing great.
Draft pick - miss the playoffs!
However you can trade Jack Eichel, you’ll get more than you gave. It was a great gamble. Imagine what trading him can do to your team- improve! Not worth 10 mil. |

Hockey has a history in Vegas (The Thunder in the defunct IHL), this is nowhere near the gong show in Arizona. - Alexzanki
TIL: Having an obscure, defunct team from an obscure, defunct league means you have a history in a sport.
Honestly, this is an Eklund level take on the ridiculous scale.
It's like saying Dallas has a history of snow storms because it snowed there last year. |

Let them miss the playoffs for the next ten years. Who cares |

They seem to be getting into a groove lately. It’s very possible they miss but even if they get in they might need a game or 2 to blend their roster together. |

Turner Cup mean anything to You ? NHL's alternate Farm Sysyem to AHL.

A Minor league is obscure, yes. Sorry to burst your bubble. It would be like me raving about the rich history of baseball in Buffalo because the Buffalo Bisons were once the New York Yankee farm team and they've won 3 championships in the Triple-A. |

You have no sense of history or know much about Pro hockey in general. |

I am hoping to see my team make a pitch for the 2 RFA's from that team, Nicholas Hague and Nicholas Roy.
If I recall correctly, no compensation required, for an offer of up to 1.365 million.
Also, when they are in the draft lottery, you just no Bettman will make sure they win 1 of the top 2 picks, can't have Buffalo having another top 2 pick. |

they didnt know - Eklblad
They didn't know that he has an M-NTC and that they should have consulted him for a list of teams he wouldn't accept a trade to when trying to trade him? That makes it both their fault on top of managerial incompetence. |

Why is it a ridiculous take, I was responding to someone saying hockey doesn't belong in Vegas, the whole premise of putting a team in Vegas was because they had multiple minor league teams in the past. |
