As a Flames fan, I am more concerned with clinching a playoff spot, not about 1st round matchups. Perhaps that should also be the concern with the Oilers. It's looking like 97 points will get in. That's basically 500 hockey, but 8 of the 11 games are against playoff bound teams or those in the fight.

Oil and Flames in, with Vegas and Eichel out, makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. A second round BoA would be a bonus.
