So much for looking forward to the young guys playing. Very disappointed in Attard. He just looks lost, and he needs to go down to the AHL and learn basic positioning. I really think he has the tools, but he seems to have no idea where he is supposed to be on the ice. I honestly didn't see much of the game after the first period(I did see that horrific 5th goal though). Is Hart officially hurt or has he just collapsed mentally yet again? Growing concerns about his mental makeup if he isn't hurt. He's never lost before cause he was used to winning at all of the other levels he played, but he better learn to buck up. At least this guarantees that Yeo won't be back. Thanks! |

On the verge of taking the 4 spot with a Devils win. The race for the bottom of the standings is unbelievably close. |

Hear ya. Parise and Bailey get their scoring back against Pens and a weak shootout effort by Latang. Tough night. |

Obviously # 1 is the best possible scenario, but if they finish with the 4th worst points % what is the lowest pick they could get? 8?

No need to worry. Injuries and Covid have set this team back. Chuck and Dave realize this and will right the ship. Need to show a little more confidence towards the people in charge. So many good pieces in place. Lots of depth. |

Giroux is such a bad captain - THE BLACK HAND
I agree. I thought the winning would start right when he left. Everybody should be playing better now that the terrible influence is gone. I have to be honest, I am kinda glad they still stink and Giroux is flourishing with the Panthers. I know that makes me a bad fan. |

I think that is correct, though it may be 7.
I DO know that the most a team can go up is 10 spots. That means teams from 12 on can get as high as 2.
The worst team can drop to no lower than 3.
And no team can win the lottery more than twice in a 5 year period.

Nate and Brown a -4 each (hayes as well). 4th line isn't important. Need the Nate types.
Attard unless it is in his contract or agreed upon needs to go to the AHL. He doesn't look the part even remotely defensively. Even if it was agreed they need to sit him down and explain to him NHL games are not helping him at all. -9 in 6 games. He has a long way to go to be an NHL regular. |

To be fair, if you stick a rookie with Seeler or Yandle or Cannauton, are you expecting great things?

I am fine with him playing out the string at the NHL level this year. -9 is nothing on this team. At least let him get to double digits before you send him down.

From what I gather is that he has always been mostly a forward playing defense. A guy who puts up a ton of points but is terrible in his own end. Kind of like a dime store Paul Coffey lol.
He has great raw skills, but is completely clueless on how to play his chosen position.

I am not as he is clearly overmatched and over his head. -9 in 6 games is not good in any way. He is not close to an NHL player right now. My guess the only reason he will still play was part of him signing here.

I would not have though he would be this bad in the D zone. He looks totally lost. Let him go down to the Phantoms and work with Jason Smith.

Well neither are Connaughton, Seeler, Yandle or anyone on the Phantoms so whatever. I don't care enough to get into a drawn discussion on it but can you legitimately say he is not in the top six talent wise for d-men in the Flyers organization? That is the real issue.
