It'll be interesting to see how Allvin and co. see the team. Do they think they're close/a year out? Do they think more fundamental changes need to be made?

Part of the JTM (potential) trade is on what JTM wants, and part of it is on what Allvin and management see and want.

For sure. I'm with VHG. This offseason is going to be telling. Especially around the draft. After years of Benning, I'm ready for a change in philosophy.

A philosophy would be a good start.

It seems like this management team is better structured than the last.

JR & Allvin will hopefully bring out the best in the 2 AGM's.

I didn’t know K-man was actually K- woman.
Should we just call him Angela going forward?

- Shuswap Wap

Should be good waiting for Johnny 'regular-season' Hockey to score in the PO's...

Probably KY Man in the middle clown suit...

Millers leadership and attitude are telling. He knows what's happening here. Don't expect much this summer.

Indeed. My comment was in reference to the previous regime of day by day clowns.
I suspect that the new group has a plan that goes beyond this year's start of free agency.

Seravalli on Miller:

"It feels like his next contract will have an AAV that begins with a $9...Teams were salivating over the idea of acquiring Miller this season, and they will be downright horny this summer."

Your turn.

I think you'll appreciate this scoreboard message that was posted at the Sharks game. Read the first letter of each word....priceless.

I never really go into any offseason with a set of expectations. I'm just more curious this year to see how the new management wades through the turd farm Benning left.

For sure if they can't agree to terms. If that's the case deal him at the draft or in the summer.

If he signs and they can accomplish what they need to do at that number, great.

Well the one good thing about Flames being in the playoffs is all the skanks that’ll be down on 17th Ave flaunting their stuff.
- TurdFergeson

Hell, you don’t have to wait for the Flames to make the playoffs to see skanks flaunt their shit.

Just head on over to Walmart in Chilliwack any ole day of the week to get that.

This has been mentally masturbated way too much.

They would have to move one of either Myers or OEL(which is not a bad thing but those are hard cap hits to move). And say good bye to Horvat.

Can you sign both him and Horvat at the same time and make it work though? Miller gets 8.5, Bo gets what, 7.5? Then you're upping Petey the next summer...

On the plus side you don't have to worry about resigning OEL for a few years

They can retain on an OEL trade if they can talk him into moving again.

They could always just do what Columbus did with Panarin (and Bobrovski) and hope they both (Miller and Horvat) want to sign team friendly deals after next season is over.

You won’t know at the draft, officially anyway. They aren’t allowed to negotiate an extension until he is in his final year, which starts after July 1 (or there about, it might be a couple days later this year)
