The Canes are not a top team IMO, if you get a lead on them, they are very beatable. They also play very poorly on the road when they don't get the last change and they can't match up. Their top end players are not good enough IMO to beat teams like Tampa or Florida.

We'll see what happens and since you're normally wrong, that bodes well for Carolina. Carolina was 25-12-4 on the road this season. The most road wins in the NHL.

Personally I think the Devils SHOULD draft one of the defensemen or trade the pick, but they will most likely do what Edmonton did when they had tons of high picks and continue to draft forwards because they couldn't pass up on them.

Most likely they will draft Slafkovsky and it will push someone out like Holtz.
