I don’t really understand the point in keeping all of what this new speculation is saying a secret. Why not just say he needs to be close to his family rather then telling the world you’re firing him because the team needs a new voice? That’s classier? Meh doesn’t make a bit of sense. If that is actually the case has to be one of the worst PR moves I’ve seen since Wang fired smith and hired snow

Doesn’t really matter what’s done is done but that theory doesn’t correspond to what Lou is saying and I really have no idea why he would say the decision was what was best for the club if it were truly a family matter. Doesn’t seem to sympathetic for a situation that pretty much demands sympathy. He said a couple of things along the lines that it was just time to move on. The team wasn’t responding under trotz so we needed a new coach.

There was a way to handle things differently and still keep Barry's privacy. Could the Isles not have paid Barry's last year without firing him? Some fans were ripped and players as well based on Lou's own words thinking they wanted Barry out.
