He is a solid two way player that plays a physical game. I am hoping they keep him. The Canes have too many smallish players that avoid the physical side of the game. They need more players like Nino who don't spend the entire game shooting from the perimeter. He is willing and able to go to the dirty areas to screen, deflect and pick up loose change.

Yeah I think they sign Nino, let Trocheck walk, and try to trade Necas as part of a package for a consistent scoring threat.

Isn't Kotkaniemi a 2nd line centre making 4.8M. I'd keep Nino and DeAngelo.

Not sure I'd keep DeAngelo for what he'll likely need to be paid.

His defensive impacts remain atrocious.

I think they sign Nino if possible, and then try to trade Tony/Necas/Bear in a package/packages for some help.
