Its becoming clear that getting leaks from this management group isn't easy, so i wouldn't get too excited about these "rumours" that you see posted on twitter and blogs.
Previous regime was much more of an open book |

Gross. This would be a disaster. Hoping they approach this with a bit more patience than that |

Well if you weren't a fan of some of those moves so far then I think it's fair game to post that you're not happy so far if that's how you feel.
Hamonic was a nice move. Motte deal was fine.
I didn't like the Dermott deal.
I don't like Boeser staying, but his cap hit and deal is tradeable so I'll go with TBD for now since it is possible that he rebounds next season and his trade value shoots up.
So overall I'm pretty much at "meh" so far, but the off-season is just starting |

the dude straight up said that they're not buying him out, you so realize that GM-player agent relationships are a thing, no GM is going to say something like that and then change his mind a few days later. - Nucker101

what
When's the last time a GM has ever publicly stated that hes not buying out a player and then ended up buying them out days later? |

Chris Gear on Twitter…
“I’m stunned. McDonagh is still a very effective player that the Bolts will miss, but he’s 33 with 4 years remaining at 6.75M. How Nashville took that on and still gave Tampa assets is incredible. Should have been retention or assets going the other way. Wow Brisebois” |

"assets"
Myers makes 2.55M and was waived/scratched last year, I'm sure he'll rebound(but to what extent is tbd) but to call him some sort of positive value "asset" is funny.
Grant Mismash is a 6'1" 190 lb 23 year old forward who put up 12 points in 57 AHL games last year |

2.5 in wasted cap space for Myers and Mismash has been pretty meh. |

Funny how we meme'd about twitter fans losing their minds over asset management when it came to fringe players over the years, who knew that a guy working in the Canucks front office had that same mentality. |

Over in Karine's blog, she is again pitching the idea of Montreal trading up with pick #26 & #33, for a pick in the middle of the 1st.
#15 for #26, #33 & Tampas 4th works for me. - Reubenkincade
That’s a really bad idea. This organization needs a blue chip prospect: trading down is beyond stupid |

His firing, probably very justified.
I watched the Canucks all access scouting and combine video.
Rutherford said he didn't like the room. I wonder now which room he was talking about. Office or locker room. |

Sign Miller trade Horvat?
Trade Hughes to NJ. There’s been a lot of talks between the two teams in the last 3 months.
That would be surprising and unthought of by most |
