I think a little jaded when you compare Vancouver’s situation to Colorado when they already had Mac and Landy. I think a more fair comparison would start when Colorado drafted MacKinnon nine years ago to Vancouver when they drafted Pettersson five years ago. They’re four years ahead of Vancouver.

The thing is, any team adding Miller is going for the Cup. They are not going to give up a cost controlled 70 point C. They would need that for sure making that run. Younger highly touted, but unproven players and picks are what you are going to get.

After the proposed trade for Drury, the Canucks should then target Nick Robertson from the Leafs, Kailer Yamamoto from the Oilers, Jordan Spence, young RHD, from the Kings and the biggest target Clayton Keller from the Coyotes.
