Pierre Lebrun mentioning that New Jersey has contacted Montreal in regards to moving up to take Slafkovsky is right in line with what I've been hearing regarding the Devils liking Slaf more than Wright. Rumour has it that MTL likes Slaf more too, though

I can see Montreal taking him, Salfkovsky. - LeftCoaster
I would demand getting Hischier for that pick. Montreal rumored to be after Keller, who is a border line 2nd line centre.
At least Hischier is a solid 2LC, but with the draft in Montreal, I can't see that happening.

They could take Slaf but I think they’ll take Wright. Even though Slaf is getting lots of love, imo he has the biggest bust potential among the top 5.

I don’t see any of the top three moving up or down. AZ takes Logan Cooley imo.

That was a long time ago. He has regressed substantially - CanuckDon
Not really. Pre-Covid thingy his pace and trend were just fine. Less games played usually amount to less points lol. Willing to give the kid a bit of a break last season with his Dad being so ill. That would affect anyone. I think Boeser and Pettersson have intense years. A full 82 with a healthy Brock... Codes is correct he can pace for 35 goals for sure. Plus the year before last under Green (2 seasons ago) his 200' game looked WAY better than it did last season. Skating too. No reason to doubt the kid now that he comes back fully focused with a good Coaching staff. The question is his health. Can he handle the rigors of an 82 game schedule. Many players can't nowadays and they are in pretty peak shape.
F1 Qualifying from Silverstone was great this morning, first career pole for Carlos Sainz and the Canadian Nicholas Latifi will start 10th. Streaming International Rugby, Scotland vs Argentina, Ireland got thumped by the All Blacks and South Africa beat Wales 32-29 with a last minute kick for goal. Fuck hockey, Fuck the Canucks.
You guys need to chill out on being so negative. This regime talked about players 26 and under, so they are trying to do that with what they have and hopefully some moves will transpire over the next few months.
This regime has signed a few free agents from other leagues and should be given the benefit of the doubt, at least until they do a couple really bad moves.
