Poolparty is 24 and has talent. If you can get him for a 3rd, you do it. Value deal and possible Nichuskin of the year candidate - carsonagenic
His teamates call him the play killer. Apparently plays die on his stick. |

I think the reason that most rebuilds take that long is because owners and managers and coaches and players and fans aren’t willing to admit that it needs to be done. There’s too much “we owe it to the Sedins” mentality. - 1970vintage
Absolutely plays a huge part in it, but, teams keep tweaking until they find a combination of players that works. |

I remember a few years ago, when you and your buddy Nucker laughed at me when I said a real rebuild takes at least 8years for the direction of the team to be established and then you start tweaking, but hey, you know a lot about hockey, Nucker, not so much. - Reubenkincade
All lies, but nice try. I’ve said previously it takes five years to build a core through the draft….just a core. Now you have to build around them. |

As was Nichuskin in Dallas. I wanted him after he failed there. Worth the risk, as it is a value contract with the possibilty of a homerun. |

I wonder if that Russian kid the Canucks signed went back to Russia? Sad news about the goaltender the Flyers signed. |

Yup, Russians will be dropping at the draft because of it.

If you are going full blow it up, all are gone. As far as value Garland has the most by far to keep and to trade. Not to be a full Hater or total Gulper, keep Garland and ditch the rest. Oilers looking for a 3rd or so for Puj. Give them Dipetro and Hogs. - carsonagenic
Jesus are you serious??? They’d go for that in a second. Pool party sucks. |

Worth a shot. The Oilers need cap space and seem ready to move on from him. Hogs who will be lucky to have a roster spot and a AHL goalie that just lost his starting job. Or a 3rd rounder for a 4 OA pick in 2017 that is being skewered by the Oilers and their fanbase. How many times has this happen before with the Coilers? |

Pretty fn funny, 2 bozos talking about how to do a rebuild.

Looking at Capfriendly...
The Canucks don't have enough cheap entry level / value deals on their roster.
At least 3 of the 4 of
Pearson
Richardinson
OEL
Myers
need to go. - carsonagenic
After our cap penalties this year we have 2 million to get 4 additional players under contract.
We’ll be doing some cap dumping within the next week most likely.

Still have Ferland's LTIR to play with as well. But yes the Canucks need to lose deadwood and overpaid contracts and find value players and rookie ELC's to replace them. |

No idea what you’re talking about, Nucker used to talk highly of John Chayka, I called him an idiot for the way he used to do things and the coyotes have never done a proper rebuild.
Until now… |

10 years since LA won its first of 2 cups. Now they have one of the best prospect pools and a competitive roster that is very close to competing for a Cup once again...
and the Canucks? |

Since you went out on a date, to a game with him, he convinced you that all small Americans were awesome. That's okay, some others have been convinced, as well.
I know I will take the usual flack, for being anti-small or anti-Amurricano, but who gives a f uck, not I.
I come here for the sh it's and giggles, along the way, I cheer for Canucks, before I cheer for anyone, including my Bruins.
BTW. I dislike the Flyers. |

Good top 6
Mobile D
Decent goaltending
A top prospect pool that was not needed to fill the NHL roster.
And a good GM
I dont think they can compete with a Colorado at this point. But in a weak Pacific division and if they dont screw up on their process, they are trending in the right direction to be a threat. |

Why so many have trouble understanding capfriendly.
10 F 38.2m
7 D 25m
2 G 5.7m
Thats 69m ish
3.6m in bonus overages and dead cap 72.6
Not included in the forwards and D are poolman, hoglander, keeper combined 4m
Which would make for 22 roster spots and 76.7m.
Add in Ferland to leave the 2.1. For one player about 5m.

have you been drinking? I’ve never met anyone from here and I never plan to, it would ruin the fun because I’m pretty boring and reserved in real life.
I don’t give a rats ass where players come from, as long as they’re talented and can help the team win. Although, if you’re under 5’ 11” tall, you’d better have great wheels and be ultra talented.
