A small skilled winger? Really? Considering how much of a drop off in talent there is after the first round and with the lack of D in the pipeline, wouldn't picking a D have made much more sense? Lekkerimaki is a 3-5 year project at best, and that's if he ever makes it over to NA after his time in the SEL is up. I don't get this pick at all.
- DariusKnight

They clearly like undersized Swedes.

Gradin has done a pretty good job with his scouting of top prospects the last few years... Not the pick I was hoping for but I see the thought process and this guy has real upside.

I know some of you are going to cry no matter what, but 5'11 at 17 is not small. D makes sense but when a top10 pick on most boards slides you take the bpa

Manitoba is pretty far away. Stand on a fence pole and hold it a little higher.

How many Nil's b*tches do they need?
- VanHockeyGuy

We need D and have a 5'11" scoring swede. Perfect.

Front or back row of the choir?

Yeah, apparently, having good D isn't a requisite for playoff success... 😒

Unbelievable, they're building a 3/4 scale Swedish NHL team.

Oh, so "professionals" thought he would go higher up but little old me had him at 15 and he was drafted @ 15 by the actual professionals?
