We’ve been burned by this so many times, that it wouldn’t even surprise me. Sedins and Edler alone set us back probably 5 years. - I-own_da-Northwest
Apples to oranges.
They had NTC’s and didn’t want to leave.
We might end up getting a poop return like 2 of Chytil/Lundkvist/Kravstov + 1st but I’m not worried about Miller walking for nothing |

Yes our organization was perhaps too loyal. And if we get nothing for Miller so be it. I’d rather a season of him + 1st rd blowout rather than getting fleeced to help someone else out. |

Neither am I. Something will be done today or tomorrow.
They want capspace and to know what they have, before free-agency, if they go that route. |

should be urgency to get it done this summer. To avoid the worst case Canuck luck scenario of Miller getting injured close to TDL next year |

Hope you’re right. I don’t think dragging this out longer than this month is the right move |

This situation kinda reminds me of the Hamhuis situation, in reverse. People were screaming, take
whatever you can get, now they have the same mentality as Benning, we must get what we think he is worth, or no deal. |

Perfect spot for JTM,
Stars looking for a winger
David Pagnotta: The Dallas Stars are looking for a top-six winger to play with Tyler Seguin and Jamie Benn. They’ll look at both the trade and free agent market. |

To CBJ
Miller
to Canucks
Kent Johnson (5 OA 2021 Port Moody Boy)
12 OA
Use the 12 OA to draft
Pavel Mintyukov
and our 15th
Owen Pickering - carsonagenic
Someone’s going to be disappointed with the return for 29 year old Miller, that many on here claim gives up on the play too easy. Why would you think Columbus, who’s obviously rebuilding give up a 5th oa and 12th oa pick to get a center who’s contract is going to get ugly sooner than later? |

Fair
I just think you could be left with less dance partners if this is dragged out in August after free agency. And holding him during the season is also risky, he's not injury prone but there's still that risk that gets a significant injury during the season that hurts his trade value |

Columbus is looking to make the playoffs soon, not a typical rebuilding team, but I agree that the return will be less than that for sure lol |

I agree, they need him gone ASAP, not because he is a bad player, but because he is a good player with a team than has way too many holes in the lineup and prospect pool. |

Haven’t talked to him in a while but I hear he’s shopping for a house in NJ.
Not sure what that’s got to do with your crazy trade proposals. |

So they’ve taken the Flames route to the Stanley cup, add some good prospects then trade them away for a first round loss? |

Jarmo also likes his grit, I could see him getting giddy over a powerforward like Miller
