Remember when the canucks drafted gadjovich because he was "hard". Or Ethan keppen because he had a mean streak. Or woo because he was a throwback to the old school physical defenseman.
The canucks drafted the same players everyone in here is after and they haven't panned out yet. Let this regime get through just 1 draft and one free agency before we start complaining they haven't addressed a glaring issue lol.
I want the canucks to be physical and tough as well, but man, they have made 2 picks.. let's be a bit patient.. |

I gave Benning 18 months before I turned on him.
But, I will say this. The “we want young players not draft picks” thing screams shortcut to me, and that is a mistake. Young players means paying a premium to get them, or getting lesser quality young players than what you would have drafted/developed. It’s a mistake and a red flag. |
