You act like the Habs would not love to draft a Quebec player that could be a star (heck even a mediocre player) over any other player of similar skillset from a different place.

This ain't the MB/Timmins era anymore - so I really don't give a (frank) about their past draft records.

Until HuGo are proven to be worse at evaluating talent than the Ducks (and other teams), I am fine with their BPA selections.
