That I can agreed with, missing from the description on the first page was : great skater and always shows up. Just unsure how much of a contributor he can be offensively

To be honest, I'm pissed still they traded him

- Xizord

I honestly felt like they were gonna deal a D as part of a package (at some point, not necessarily the draft), but I thought it would be one of the younger prospects.

The whole "You know what you got" vs "You wonder what you have" type thing.

But I am sure that HuGo have a few more things up their sleeves int he next week, so I will wait to see how the whole picture plays out.

Gonna be honest, I was shocked when Bettman said there were 2 trades and they both involved the Habs. I did not even really register who they gave up until it got to what they ended up with at the end.

Then my jaw kinda dropped.

While it was being announced, part of me was like... I don't care if this turns to poop, this is (frank)ing exciting.

Craziest and most unexpected 20-30 minutes of Habs fan draft experience since perhaps the Petr Svoboda draft in 1984.

So...a Montembault-Primeau tandem for next season? Not too bad for the Bedard sweeptakes

A couple of teams who were in on Tony DeAngelo say they are out and believe player will go to PHI. Sounds like Flyers/Hurricanes working on it.

I thought for a second they were pulling a draft day magic ( that Kevin Costner movie) and were still getting Wright, I was wrong

I am surprised at the number of trades for actual players so far, usually just picks for picks... this has been a crazy draft, and it is not even over!

I was at a bar when it happened and a guy had a Romanov jersey. His reaction was hilarious, he did not know what to do with the jersey.

Allen is in the last year of his contract. He's getting traded at some point this season.

At 2.875M he's a very reasonable option for any cap stranded teams.

Let's make the most of it.

Always leave room for possibilities, however, Canadiens source says it’s unlikely they move Jake Allen with Carey Price uncertainty. Also suggests, while Mtl wants to move money, a better deal for Petry may happen after the Draft.
