Let’s be real though, the odds of Malkin resigning in Pittsburgh was pretty high. I’m glad the pens resigned him, but it wasn’t that far fetched to say he would considering a TON of Pittsburgh native reporters pretty much nailed the deal (4 years, and 6ish mil aav)

I'm starting to wonder. I saw the Hextall vid and he was asked if we signed Larsson and he said he can't confirm that, but he didn't deny it. Maybe they were negotiating and it fell through.
