Yeah, PITT's scouting department generally sucks is the problem. This is both with drafting and finding FAs. So, they end up signing guys who've played on a good team, instead of finding players who can do the same thing at cheaper price. Rutta and Fleury is a terrific example. Rutta has more experience, sure, but not worth $2M more per season...

Caggiula Will probably be in WBS.

After digesting today a bit, I'm pretty content with where we sit. Current team is not going to win a Cup but it's also better than most were realistically expecting 2 weeks ago. We also will have some cap space next season and the part I'm most happy about...our draft picks the next 3 years show a pick with our logo in every single spot except the 3rd next year. Not thrilled with Rutta, but waiting to see the final result there. Only thing I do hope is that Hex at least talked to Lyubushkin(seeing what he signed for) before signing Rutta.
