see. it comes down to eyeballs, pat. the target audience isn't those at the games, it for the viewers. most of the people in the stands won't even see the ads. its the close-ups on the broadcast they are targeting

yeah I get it. still, if those companies pay teams to wear logos, MTL could say no, because they don't need that poop. when I hear people say "we'll get used to it" it pisses me off, because it leads me to believe they'll just be adding more and more crap on the jerseys as years go by. they already have ads on the boards, on the ice, between breaks, etc.., jesus christ when will it be enough?
