Jesus Christ
First on the boards, then on the helmets ... and now on jerseys?
It's a slow downfall to skating billboards (Eurotrash style).
KEEP THE GODAMN UNIFORMS INTACT.
EDIT: I didn't even mention the ones on the glass behind the net ... there's a (frank)ing limit. I wish fans unite and stop buying their merch until they get their head out of their ass. |

I don't know if they'll be on the retail jerseys - mr.peanut
It would send a message nonetheless ... can you imagine Original Six jerseys with ads on them ... it's sacriledge to pollute those classics, someone needs to be burned at the stake and I'll bring the matches.

I was already refusing to buy them (price). And I agree, there is some charm to these sweaters. Like, here is the habs jersey with the st hubert chicken giving the thumbs up on it |

it's terrible. not as bad as those soccer jerseys where the company logos are bigger than the actual team logo (wtf), but still.

see, I would think logically it should be the opposite, have poopty teams wear them to compensate for low attendance, while bigger hockey markets keep their jerseys intact.

see. it comes down to eyeballs, pat. the target audience isn't those at the games, it for the viewers. most of the people in the stands won't even see the ads. its the close-ups on the broadcast they are targeting |

yeah I get it. still, if those companies pay teams to wear logos, MTL could say no, because they don't need that poop. when I hear people say "we'll get used to it" it pisses me off, because it leads me to believe they'll just be adding more and more crap on the jerseys as years go by. they already have ads on the boards, on the ice, between breaks, etc.., jesus christ when will it be enough?

I sure as hell will boycott any company that sticks it's (frank)ing logo on the Habs jersey.

He's not bad, good skater and could be useful as an 8th D in case of injuries ... my dead grandmother shoots harder than him though. |
