Ben Shelley: Nino Niederreiter signs with Predators

He was one of the few forwards for the Canes who had a scoring touc and was willing to go to the dirty areas. Canes have too many guys that hang out on the perimeter hoping for the perfect shot. That is why they make half of the goalies in the league look like Vezina finalists. He is a big loss.
