At this point I'm too concerned if Hextall traded Zucker he'd somehow make the situation worse.

My guess is Ruhwedel is probably getting moved. I'd say McGinn but that would be wishful thinking.

Nope. It’s like everyone ignores the 20 times I’ve said they can move Ty Smith and DOC to the AHL and become cap compliant. They are 1.4 mil over. You add 860k+750k you get 1.61m….

Not to mention they have scrubs they can send through waivers that likely won’t get picked up.

To be fair, you may not have seen it as I haven't seen you post lately but I feel like I've posted that same comment like 6 times in the last few days haha.

Archibald had 192 hits in only 52 games a few years back. He has speed and has had two 12 goal seasons in his career. He can help the 4th line as well as the pk. Don’t count out Caggiula either. He also has good speed and the feistiness of Archibald.

While the Heinen move is only one move it actually has a positive effect on this lineup. While he upgrades what we thought was the starting lineup, he pushes others like Archibald out.

I guess we can at least say now that at the very least the forward group is largely unchanged. I know we all hoped they'd upgrade the forward group, but at least it's not worse now. That Kapanen signing is still maddening and feel they could have spent wiser, but this is still a forward group that would have knocked the Rangers out with a healthy goalie.

I mean 3 seconds per game just sounds like they threw his line out a lot right after penalty kills. Which was mostly Geno's line that year. He doesn't have the IQ to kill penalties.

He played on the PK in Toronto, 1:38 seconds per game. PK isn't difficult, he could do that easily.
