Three solid moves, I like them all. 2nd 1st Rounder signed nice .. he’s gonna play sooner rather than later. Good size and skill.

Klingberg.. 1 yr is perfect. Could be flipped at the deadline if need be.

Exactly! Adds a badly needed defenseman to the roster who can score goals and is great on the PP, the ability to flip him at the deadline is icing on the cake. Beauty, GMPV!

I remember when the Ducks let Milano and Steel go saying on here let’s see what Verbeek does during FA before bashing him. I don’t think anyone is doing that now.

Verbeek scared of the Arb award for the role he was going to play.

PV didn't see him as top 6 option with the Strome and Vatrano adds. You have Z and Terry along with MacTavish.. then add in Comtois and perhaps Silf or Rico and Milano just got squeezed for the monies and role ...

Gaucher was a nice puck for you guys.
Your team has a pretty nice future.

Beast mode... kid is going to play NHL games sooner than later..

Plus those D teammates... Those 2 should be at least 4-6 d men in the league in a couple yrs.

Klingberg makes the Ducks better.
Joulevi has never lived up to expectations after his WJC and Memorial Cup performances in 2016, but if he can stay healthy, at a minimum he will make San Diego better and could contribute in Anaheim at some point. Probably worth taking a flyer on.
It’s always good to get your first round picks signed, even though Gaucher will be headed back to Jrs in October.

Noone else seems to be that interested in him either. Until the cap goes up we'll see GMs making these decisions instead of extending them like before.

Klingberg with be a great flip at the deadline

Nice one Eklund, you really nailed the Klingberg signing on the rumour chart. haha

You named SIX teams and none of them were the team he signed with. I think it is a very good thing that you don't manage investments, operate a retail passenger vehicle like a plane, train, or bus, or manage any sort of risk...because people would die. lol

You threw 6/32 (almost 20%) of the teams against the wall and NONE of them were close, all the while claiming that you're an insider.

The joke is on us however, so yeah, good job.

Agree ... PV seems to be making hard decisions and not popular ones... Good GM'ing.. And I've been pretty critical of him recently.

JK I think is going to be a 60+ pt player with Z feeding him apples on the PP..

Ducks PP is going to be pretty damn good. Not Leafer good but.. top 10

Z / Terry / Strome / Rico / JK - PP 1

McT / Vatrano / Comtois / Drysdale / Fowler - PP 2

This post X 1000!
I can never figure out what Ek is thinking, Anaheim had $10 million they needed to spend to get to the cap floor! They are never listed as a rumored team. If I'm running a rumor site, that team is going to be in on EVERY free agent, then I can brag about the one that hits. I only check this site out for the posters, there are a LOT of them that are pretty funny, but I can't figure for the life of me why anyone gives this guy $25 for his "Rumor Chart" when sites like The 4th Period give out better info for free. It's a baffling business model.

Ya, those 2 D teammates was an added bonus for sure.

Big fan of MacTavish, so I will be following the Ducks a lot more over the next decade or so.

Absolutely.

Disappointed with OJ, but it would be nice to see him do something.
