It is a never ending debate, to be sure. Possibly even without a correct answer. But, if you spell Gretzky wrong again, your posting privileges around here may be in jeopardy.

Its not nice to cancel the spelling challenged.

I didnt know until years later that Esposito was taking calls from Sather to see if the Rangers wanted to do it

apparently they agreed on Kelly Kisio, Tomas Sandstrom and John Vanbiesbrouck and 3 first round picks to Edmonton. But couldn't get the Rangers ownership at the time to get on board with the 15 million

That likely means we dont end up with Messier, and possibly still dealing with 1940 chants.

everything changes if that rumoured trade happened, but Gretzky in 1988 is still an insane hockey player

yesterday via TSN Radio:
Seven-year contract for Nazem Kadri with the #isles. They'll announce that soon... They pretty much have that set in, it's a formality from what I've heard. Just paperwork and making sure all the money, the dollars, and cents all fit...

that should be fun

James is pretty tuned in. But who are they dumping and with what to create cap space. Who is the 3c? Nelson, as Kadri is a 2c.

He'll be 32 by the time the season starts. Love it as a Rangers fan. I'll let them worry about the lineups

...Lemieux and Crosby...?

Lemieux and Crosby are the generational talents, guys like Jagr and Malkin are top tier players, but not in the same category as the other two.

- SuperHenderson13

I thought he meant at the same time.

Yeah, that Lemieux guy was decent.
