I was hoping his deal would be closer to Trennin's in Nashville. Necas plays really soft. He doesn't hit and avoids the dirty areas of the ice. It is hard to score when 90% of your game is on the perimeter.

If he moved to the middle I would hope that would force him to play a more engaged game and bring back some of that edge he had when he was drafted. It's just too easy for him to stay to the outside on the wing, where he doesn't want to play anyway.
