Exactly Fleury is nowhere in this conversation if you take away Crosby, Geno and Letang. Seeing him as the best of his generation is just ridiculous.

Here is what I will remember most about Price's tenure with the Habs: The stupid amount of games he lost because the habs could only score 1 (and often 0) goals in a game, that he kept close solely by his play in net.

Fleury is/was a good goaltender who never played for a bad team in his life except last season.
Price was an amazing goaltender who played for mostly bad teams his entire career.
There's no doubt in my mind who you'd want in net to win an important game, and god knows it's not Fleury. |
