Eklund: You’re the GM: Make a Trade Offer for Patrick Kane. - Eklund
'' Hi so you gave up Debrincat for practically nothing , I'll give you a 2nd for a 50% retenu on his salary , fair enough deal for a 34 year old on his last year seeing the standard you've established on the value of your players''

The ball is almost totally in Kane’s hands at this point, given the full NMC in his contract. He’s only going to a destination of his own choosing, which could potentially hamstring any return. |
|

Chicago holds at least 50% of salary and Kane goes to New York Rangers to see is if Kane and Breadman still have chemistry?
Chicago should go after Adam Sykora, Gustav Rydahl, Libor Hajek New York might want to lose Kakko?
Hawks want to build then go after the these players and continue the development.
It’s Kane’s call, but he’s use to the Big City audience.

Kane's salary is tough to swallow. I can't imagine what Kanye's would be. |

1st Round Pick
One of Holmberg, Ambruzzese or Steeves
Jake Muzzin
For
Patrick Kane (50% retained)
Kane gives them the extra piece in the top 6 they need this year. Chicago takes the final two years of Muzzin (only 4 million real salary vs. a $5.6 cap hit) to make the cap work for the Leafs and get a couple decent prospects and a 1st round pick to do it.
Moving Muzzin makes room for Sandin who is without a spot right now.
While also making the Blackhawks roster worse and helping them bottom out for Bedard. |

I veto this unless we can agree if both or neither of "bobble" and "head" need to be capitalized. |

*** if Nashville goes to final in 2022-23 season and Kane plays 75% of playoff games, 2023 pick becomes a first

Too much man. Too much
How about a conditional 2025 7th and the rest of Rick DiPietro's amnesty buyout payments. |

Willie Nylander Justin Holl and Rasmus Sandin - Mitchellbrazeau
I'm not a Leafs fan at all, but given their ages and cap hits, Nylander straight up is an overpay. |

Under normal circumstances you would be correct, but Anything Associated With PK Subban Needs To Be Capitalized. |

Can’t retain 7 million.
Ek will probably pick this one. |

You're the GM didn't work for Malkin, Chychrun, Gibson, etc...but there is still time.
My offer for Kane comes from NYI. It's a sign and trade of Kadri for Kane. Oh wait, that E4 turned into "had a feeling NYI moved on". So the best I can offer is Richard Park and Barrie Trotsz. |

It worked for Tkachuk because he basically told them trade me now. It didn’t work for Eichel either because that went on for months.
In fairness I think the “I had a feeling NYI had moved on “ came from Mike in mom’s basement.

Sabres get:
Patrick Kane full salary
Blackhawks get:
2nd round pick (becomes 1st round pick if Kane signs an extension)
That's it. Take all that salary on is a big deal. Allows Chicago to make trades with cap strapped teams for even more assets. |

I agree with that however Nylander’s gonna want more and holl would be a salary dumb but would still be a number three or four for Chicago and Sandin has the potential to be in the top four right |
