4th lines do not matter on this team. Actually 3 players with no upside, you forgot ZM.
- furio16

Is this what you think I said or did you say you want a fourth line that drives play offensively on a team that has no lines that can drive play offensively?

Feanor has been here all morning, you have yet to ask the big question you’re avoiding

Frost is gonna be just fine.

Just hoping he breaks out as a Flyer, and not with another team.

If he left, I don’t think there would be some awakening. What are you considering breaking out? Just an NHL regular?

This is just a concept you just can't grasp. The Flyers have in-house players to have a solid 4th line. They will likely choose not to ice a solid 4th line. They do not have the players to help the top 2 lines. So therefor they not should improve the 4th line. That is your logic.

You want the 4th line to be able to defend you said. Well the 4th line as is doesn't do that, they do noting except bleed chances against. If you possess the puck you don't have to defend, you do realize this no?

Avoiding what? How Brown is such a Steller PK guy? They suck with or without Brown on the pk. Why would I ask him a question to begin with? You made the statement up to you to show me these awesome pk stats with Brown

It's surprising but Vinny Prospal really had a solid career.

What an awful trade that was for Daigle.

So a very solid player. Not shutting the book on the kid, more tempering expectations, see him right under that. Maybe a 40-45 point guy
Edit : an occasional 50ish for a good year

If he turns into a 40-45 guy then the Flyers did well imo.

If we can get any line to play with possession at even strength and drive offense, they’ll likely become our best line. I don’t know if the Flyers can dress a solid fourth line anymore then you do. I don’t know if Allison can stay healthy or what Tanner might look like for long stretch of games. They do have an opportunity to win a job during training camp though.

As a player that is not likely to be a player that contributes strongly in other areas. I'd like to see more point production than that out of a 1st round pick.

The point is they need to find out. They have much more upside than the other 3. If they cant cut it then so be it you at least know now.

I disagree and do not think they will have a legit opportunity. That means Chuck will have to work and actually make a roster decision. IMO I do not see either one on the opening night roster. Though that depends on how Ratcliff plays.

What is the average point production in the NHL for players drafted in his spot? 40-45 would be a win for the Flyers if Frost becomes that.

Ok this post I can’t and won’t argue but like I said, I don’t know if the alternative of Tanner over Brown will improve the fourth line. I have no idea.

Would you rather take the chance to play Tanner or play Brown? Knowing what type of season this is very likely going to be.

Without a doubt. I want to see him play 75 games or so. Obviously want him to produce points wise though lets see how he plays overall.

He gets 40+ points would be a home run at this juncture.
