Bill in your opinion what do Tanner and Wade have to do to make this team out of camp? Are you of the belief that they have to not just outplay other but significantly outplay them?
Time for Frost to show what he has all excuses are out the window.
Happy birthday to former legit top paring dman Any Mac. Ivan has benefitted from his time as his partner.

Honestly they should’ve been jettisoned already. What the % they make it through a whole season? Not saying a player getting injured should be just discarded but unless you’re a top talent for example tarasenko had multiple injury seasons then why bother. They can’t stay in the lineup. |

They both finished the year healthy. That is all that is relevant at this time.
Why bother because both have more to offer than the entire 4th line the Flyers are likely to employ. Even if they do not you need to find out as the 3 stooges on the 4th line now have zero upside. Allision has the potential to play higher up in the lineup.

I don't think both will make the opening night roster. One or the other (or Ratcliffe, who is subject to waivers). |

I agree ND and Mac bring little to the table in terms of upside. Brown is a center so I guess he has some value. I would have preferred a 4th line of all youngsters. But the Flyers are trying to be the 15th worst team in the league not the 8th. So there's that. |

Saw Allison in the headline.
Thought oh god kid is hurt again. Glad he isn't.
Even though I have not seen the same as everyone regarding Frost,
I hope the kid can put it all together and become a solid NHLer and not the second coming of Jordan Weal. |

Funny how MacDonald, Manning, and VandeVelde all basically had their NHL careers end once the Flyers finally cut them loose. They weren't even that old.

Why don't you think they will both make it? Doesn't seem like the selection will be based on merit and earning a spot.
If Ratcliffe is exposed to waivers do you see him getting claimed?

Little odd Andy Mac didnt get picked up as bottom pair vet. Wonder if it was by choice as the Flyers made him a rich man.

It would've been completely stupid for the Flyers to have jettisoned either player. With the lack of talent, there would be no reason to do so.

Maybe his Blue Cross Blue Shield rep heard it from Gaudreaus wife, and she thought it would be good.

Allison looks in phenomenal shape. If you compare the picture of him with his first NHL goal puck to beyond the boards, he looks way stronger and bigger. Hope he can stay healthy and really contribute to this club |

He has to stay healthy obviously but if he can, he's an NHL player and potentially a good one. But nah, let's just jettison him.

Maybe he has all of his injuries out of the way early.
Now he goes on a games played streak.
Goes into Flyers HOF.
New season, hope springs eternal.

It's a good bet that the Flyers are going to open the season with a 30 and 31 year old on the 4th line. Two poor players with no upside. Rather than giving two younger players with upside a shot. Exactly what a bottom feeder should be doing. |

4th lines do not matter on this team. Actually 3 players with no upside, you forgot ZM.
