So our crappy prospects are beating the teams with far superior prospects? This can't be true, the Canucks have no prospects to speak of and we are so inferior to other team's according to most on this site, I don't get it? - onesmallleap

Klim was invisible first period but got roughed up and it seemed to wake him up.
Aman was good at the start but faded.
He was one of the smoother skaters out there. Young was solid in net. Clark knows how to pick them. Nielsen has some speed and tenacity.
Summary: Most of our better prospects are in Europe or NCAA. This might be last young stars I attend. |

That was one of the best games and some of the worst officiating I've seen in the last few years, I feel for the Wallabies, that was brutal, I could say it might have been a language problem but there were shit calls all game on both sides. I've been very impressed with the Australian front pack all series especially the back row, next years World Cup should be very entertaining.
edit: Now that I have read what Nigel Owens has to say about it and watched the leaked sky cam footage I've changed my mind about Mathieu Raynal's call for delay of game, it still doesn't excuse some of his shit calls during the game especially the yellow card for pulling down the maul when the player did nothing and there should have been a card for the lifted tackle as well. |

Holy vrap the prospects are awesome, oh wait, the super prospects are in Europe, just wait, this team will not only have the best top 9, but they will have the best top 13, although, they will have a defense that might have some ? marks.
Sorry, I continue to discontinue to dislike this makeup of the team.

Exactly. Other than hiring a bunch of extra bodies to spread the load there isn't much to thank the new leadership group for. Unless another Elias Peterson on paper is a game changer |

Gonna be a loooooong rebuild year(s) Seahawks fans.
Carroll should have been fired so the rebuild could properly commence.

Only if Benning had someone to veto some of his trades and an actual staff instead of having to do everything himself. Good part of it though was that FA realized the mistakes he made and has corrected them now. What was a staff of about 5 is now a staff of 12 |

While they haven't done much (and as they admit as much as they would have liked), I think one thing to be thankful for is that they haven't done much: they didn't go out and overpay for players *cough*OEL, or send draft picks away to clear cap space. Basically they realized the team's position in the current market and chose not to overreact/overcompensate. Which is thoughtful, and like the have a vision... and stuff |

It doesn't look good, the O-line is better, D is questionable. Sticking with a 4/13 record. They'll draft a high ranked QB next year and continue the rebuild. May be Carroll's last season.

Hopefully. That game last night was PAINFUL. Geno is such an uncreative QB. At least Russ had a poop outing as well
If they're that far out of the playoff race, do they trade off some players? |

Trading Wilson was the right thing to do, he became bigger than the team. If they trade anyone it would probably be at Receiver (Lockett?) or Tight End (Dissly/Fant?) which wouldn't be a bad idea for a re-building team.

Could see them trading Lockett (maybe even DK if he voices that he wants out?), but Lockett is also so respected in the organization I'm not sure. Don't think they'd trade Fant as he's still young enough.
But ya, trading Wilson was the better option. Much like trading JTM at this year's deadline will be best as well |

I could see DK wanting to reunite with Wilson, if that's the case show him the door.
JTM rumors simply will not go away in this market, I could GAF either way.

It's good they retained some talent and the return for Wilson was quite good...however they should have started this year with a fresh coach. Carroll is a 'players guy' and that's all good and fine but it's run it's course. Plus he plays favorites a bit too much just ask Russell Wilson lol |

100% That's why I can see DK wanting out if Carroll gets let go. I don't see SEA as a wildcard team, they need to sell at the TDL and build more draft capital. Unlike a team which I won't mention.

As the Canucks continue to seek help on defence ahead of the regular season, a name on the radar is Carolina Hurricanes RD Ethan Bear.
The 25 yo former Oiler is on a one-year contract at $2.2M and will be an RFA in 2023. |
