Carol Schram: Silovs shuts out the Flames as the Canucks kick off Young Stars with a win The Vancouver Canucks got off to a strong start at the 2022 Young Stars Classic. Arshdeep Bains, Tristen Nielsen and Linus Karlsson had the goals and Arturs Silovs earned the shutout in a 3-0 win over the Calgary Flames prospects.

Another win for the Young Canucks.

4 to 1 canucks, 1 goal against in 2 games!

7-1 goal diff. Not too flashy but playing solid. They looked the more experienced team both games. Very solid goal tending from both net minders. Nice to see Klimo stand out in this game.

So our crappy prospects are beating the teams with far superior prospects? This can't be true, the Canucks have no prospects to speak of and we are so inferior to other team's according to most on this site, I don't get it?

There's a lot of AHL and Euro pro experience on the Canucks squad. Like I said before, they don't look flashy but look more experienced.
