Heard him saying he was tired of being the "best NHL contract value" out there. Certainly changed that. Good thing they won the cup when they did.

I can't believe social media is making such a big deal over this crap. - VanHockeyGuy
Haha I mean I have no problem with closet nickelback fans, i'm sure there are more out there than we think ... but to post this on twitter or tiktok or whatever it is. I mean read the world, valid or not ... you're gonna take some poop!
Sidenote: does chad not look fake? like one of those xmas office elf videos haha
Simply put, music nowadays is garbage. - VanHockeyGuy
Meh, there's some good music now. There was also a lot of garbage back in the day too.
Music has definitely gotten worse overall, but a lot of that has to do with marketing/money money money
Watched a video a while ago about why all the summer pop hits sounds the same year after year. People complain about it, but basically marketing/record companies have found the exact formula that everyone likes to hear/gets the most hits so they keep making that. They've basically perfected the summer pop song.

I really can't speak to that as I don't listen to any of it.

You have to really dig for it but some people are still making good music. The Black Pumas for example.
Recently, we've been choosing a year and then listening to a playlist based on that. This past Saturday was 1977, Sunday was 1978. Like our friend with a lederhosen fetish said, there was plenty of tragic stuff back then, too. Had to quickly fast forward a Bread song on the weekend. Zero tolerance for ABBA.

Well that’s just todays pop culture in general. The vast majority of people care about style over substance. It’s the root of all evil.

They are good, I fluked upon them online, I don't listen to commercial music, mostly SiriusXM & Spotify, YouTube where you have more control over the content.

I've been on Twitter a long time, the Canuck's takes are embarrassing to say the least. Players are aware of the toxic environment of this market, one of the worst in the NHL imo. Make no wonder people don't want to expose their families to the Vancouver market.

I've been doing that for a few years, have you done 1971 yet? great year for music.
I've been enjoying Teddy Swim's voice for the last couple of years.

Can the Avs break the streak of no team with a 10 Mil + player winning a cup?
